The Cruden Group are a sporting lot who are always up for a challenge, so to raise money for the British Heart Foundation a team of 12 members of the sports and social club laced up their hiking boots and set off on the Yorkshire Peak Challenge in Spring 2009.

After 3 peaks, 24 miles, over 5000 feet, 12 hours and not to mention numerous blisters the Cruden Climbers are delighted to announce we raised a total of £1067.86 for the British Heart Foundation.

The team was led by Group Marketing Assistant Emma Jayne Paterson who commented 'We are delighted at the amount of money we have raised and all the support our friends, families and colleagues have given to us – it makes the blisters all worth while!'

The Cruden Climbers team included, Emma Jayne Paterson, Chris Brown, John Dean, Karl Kilbride, Paul Fadden, Mark Stokey, Kenny Humphreys, Emma Mawdsley, Tom Armstrong, Steve Gibbons and Chris Hall.
