Cruden Group awarded ISO IEC 27001
Cruden Group Limited have recently been awarded the BS ISO / IEC 27001:2005 accreditation in recognition of our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
ISO/IEC 27001 aims to ensure that adequate controls addressing confidentiality, integrity and availability of information are in place to safeguard the information of 'interested parties'. These include our customers, employees and trading partners.
Unprotected systems are vulnerable to computer-assisted fraud, sabotage and viruses. Breaches in information security can allow vital information to be accessed, stolen, corrupted or lost. ISO/IEC 27001 helps to ensure that we have the appropriate controls and procedures in place to avoid such incidents.
