In November 2011 Cruden Group was successfully accredited as an Investor in People Silver Status Organization.

The Investors in People standard strives for organisations to have a clear vision for its future direction and how it's going to get there, the organisation's plan to be effectively communicated to all colleagues and each member of staff to know their responsibilities and what part they play.

Cruden was first accredited as an Investor in People in 2004 and has continually placed great emphasis on talent development and focus on people as an intrinsic part of Cruden's culture. On each assessment the standards of the accreditation have been raised, and the most recent assessment for the silver status was our most stretching audit yet.

In total, 49 Cruden employees were interviewed, representing 14% of the workforce. Each met with the assessor to confidentially discuss a range of topics from social responsibility, change management, culture and core values, learning and development, continuous improvement, leadership and communication.

Cruden Group employees were able to demonstrate how the organization had applied Investors in People practices to the achievement of priorities relating to culture, management of change and equality and diversity. Demonstrating that strategies, practices and culture to go beyond the scope of the Investors in People Standard.

The assessors concluded that Cruden met a total of 124 evidence requirements and deserved to achieve silver status, recognizing that Cruden operate with many of the characteristics associated with high performance workplaces and world class people management.

Cruden Group Chairman Stephen Morris commented "We should all be proud of this recognition it is testament to the last two years of hard work and commitment to performance improvement and talent development"

The Cruden Group will continue to invest, train and develop our people who all contribute to the successes delivered by the group. For more information on careers within the Cruden Group please visit the careers section of the website.
