Shortlisted for the Regional North West Construction Awards

The joint application between Cruden Construction and client Plus Dane Group for the Castlefields Regeneration scheme has been shortlisted for the prestigious Business Award. The application demonstrated the application of Lean Construction to further improve construction performance on a phased housing regeneration project.

The Castlefields Estate Regeneration Project in Runcorn, Cheshire is a unique 10 year partnering regeneration scheme that has currently delivered an award winning range of over 500 units of new housing, as part of the 'vision' for a sustainable future for Castlefields.

This year the Regional Northwest Construction Awards had a bumper crop of applications for awards with over 50% more entries than last year event, Dr Victoria Hutchinson of CCINW commented "The number of entries made the judges job even harder this year and the Shortlists can honestly be seen as being a roll call of excellence in the build environment in the North West"

The award ceremony will be held at the Southport Theatre and Conference Centre on the evening of Thursday 21st May 2009.
