"I have worked in with staff from the Cruden Group since the mid 1990's, particularly on the conversion of warehouses in Liverpool City Centre into residential apartments, they have an excellent track record of finding solutions to difficult construction problems and are willing to adopt a partnership approach. I would recommend them as a prospective development partner."

Bill Lacey, Head of Development and Regeneration, Helena Partnerships

Heald Farm Court in Newton le Willows is an outstanding £10.5m development of 86 two bedroom apartments and 3 bungalows developed within a residential area for Helena Partnerships.

A luxury feel has been created on the scheme with the use of high quality materials such as copper cladding, walnut and oak veneers, oak handrails and externally granite paving, hardwood benches and mature trees along with a number of warm wall colours and contemporary furniture and fitting chosen by the interior designer.

At the centre of the village there are a number of communal facilities for residents to enjoy which include; Sensory Garden, Restaurant, Multi Activity Room, Hair Salon, Prayer Room, Launderette, Gymnasium and Greenhouse. Residents friends and family are welcome to stay in the guest suite provided.

The fob entry access to all private residential areas and CCTV throughout the village contribute to the safe and secure environment for residents. Many apartments have video access phone allowing the resident to identify visitors prior to entry into the building.

Environmental Features
The village contains the following features designed to reduce its environmental impact

■ Oak veneer internal doors
■ Slip resistant flooring

Local primary school St Mary's Junior School also benefited through the creation of a new outdoor learning zone with landscaped wildlife pond, habitat garden and vegetable growing patch. Cruden were delighted to support this local project and plan to continue support in phase 2 of the initiative.

Considerate Constructors Scheme
The site received on overall score of 35 and was awarded a certificate for 'Above and Beyond Compliance'. This puts the site in the top 5% in the country.
