The construction comprised dynamic ground compaction and mass concrete foundations incorporating ground beams. A portal steel frame provides the primary structure. Cladding is white Kingspan horizontal panels with double glazed windows in blue powder coated metal frames.
Additional external features included high security escape doors, roller shutter doors to the warehouse and a glazed feature entrance and canopy to the offices.
Internally, Cruden installed all core services including a passenger lift, partial air conditioning and state of the art security systems. Finishes included proprietary glazed partitions, ash veneered doors, vinyl wall coverings, carpet tiles and suspended ceilings.
A mixture of hard and soft landscaping with ample car parking and servicing facilities complemented and completed the project.
Wharfside serves as an excellent reminder of the resources and expertise Cruden can call upon to assist clients to achieve their business objectives.
